All participating riders split costs for trainer/groom accommodations and tack stall fees. Care fees include wrapping if needed, stall cleaning, watering, feeding, night check, use of farm supplied equipment (bucket, feed pans, liniment, stall banners, etc). Coaching fees include setup and breakdown, warmup, ringside prep, course familiarization and post-class review. Grooming fees include bathing, wrapping, tacking and untacking, hand walking. There is a $125 minimum Coaching fee per day if a trainer travels to a horse show for a single participant. Any show with more than four horses participating may require a groom, groom accommodations and day rates may vary slightly. Trailering fees may also vary slightly based on number of horses attending and current fuel rates.
Special notes for WEC, WEF, Terranova, HITS, Venice:
- Groom staff is required, split among participants.
- Pre-show clipping and mane maintenance required.
- Braiding required.
- Golf cart may be required, at trainer’s discretion.
- Self-care is no longer offered.
