We are ecstatic to have expanded our operations to include a boutique breeding program. We have welcomed the first foals on the ground at Copper Light in spring 2026 and have big plans for next year’s breeding season. We are now offering our breeding, foaling and raising services for those that want to bring their own dream to life. Whether by creating your own perfect partner, or living vicariously through ours, we invite you to follow along the journey with regular updates from the mare barn.
Every foal starts as a dream.
We’ve helped countless riders find their equine partners, and temperament remains the predominant criteria. I believe that temperament is both inherited as well as can be gently moulded in young horses. While we will offer some in utero and foals, we are especially excited to bring along our carefully bred young horses with tactful training to develop confident horses that are ready for life experiences with new owners.

Gracie Blu KVJ
Pallido Blu CF x Galoubet A/Abdullah.
Currently the only jumper bred mare in our program, our lovely 2016 tobiano premium GOV Oldenburg mare was successful in the 1.15s before transitioning to motherhood. Her sire, Pallido Blu CF is a striking tobiano Oldenburg by Pallido out of Rainfall, an Oldenburg mare. Well known in the US for his homozygous color and adorable jump form, we eagerly await Gracie’s own color testing. Her damsire, Galoubet A was an absolutely epic 17h Selle Francois 1.60m jumper in his own right and as a sire has produced sixty-nine licensed sons and many premium daughters. Most notably Baloubet du Rouet, Quick Star, Caloubet du Rouet and Jah’s Diamant. Gracie is WFFS negative.
Gracie has foaled a striking black and white tobiano 2026 colt by the world #1 dressage horse Glamourdale.
Angelika MW
Franziskus x Ayscha (Welt Hit II x Rouletto x Aktuell x Futuro)
We are honored to have been entrusted with the first embryo from the amazing late Angelika MW’s with Fortunato H20. The stunning bay mare was bred from Shannon Lee Dueck’s Grand Prix mare Ayscha. She made her international show debut with Shannon at seven years old in 2022. The pair racked up wins at the small tour and was named reserve for the Canadian team for the Pan American Games. Shannon and Angel travelled to the UK for training with Carl Hester and put together all the pieces for an amazing Grand Prix, claiming a 71.74% at their final outing at the level in Hartpury. Despite exhaustive efforts, Angelika was tragically lost due to an injury sustained during transport home. Watching Shannon and Angelika together was poetry in motion. The trust and connection was so clear. We welcomed Angelika’s foal by Fortunato H20 April 7th, a gregarious chestnut colt with his mom’s famous silver tail. We hope to honor Angelina’s memory (and Shannon’s trust) by developing this special colt with love and thoughtfulness. He is not available.
