We aim to make sure your every visit to the barn is relaxing and rewarding, and the right barn staff and trainer can play a big role in achieving that. We are thrilled to call Teigan Granger part of the Copper Light Farm family.
Teigan brings years of experience caring for top sporthorses and an undying love for animals. She demonstrates her true love for each of our equine residents with extreme care and passion for detail. Teigan has trained and competed numerous horses from young horse to high level jumpers. Her current mounts include Cougar des Forets, owned by Ethan and Jane Mann, who she’s aiming to the GP this year and her new arrival a lovely two year old gelding Cellini KF Z, acquired by the generosity of Peggy and Bill Harfosh.
In her six years at the farm, not only has she started many young horses under saddle that have developed into wonderful happy riding horses, we’ve also seen her help young riders and adults blossom with newfound confidence while nurturing bonds between horse and rider. She continues her education in and out of the saddle with top trainers including Debbie Stephens, Steffen Peters, and Sara Hassler. This year she’s also added breeding assistant to her resume as she’s been part of the breeding and foaling process alongside Lindsey.
In addition to treating all of our horses like her own on a daily basis, Teigan is available for lessons, training, horse shows, and a variety of services. She’s is integral to Copper Light Farm and we are fortunate to have her!
