Queso
Queso (aka Cheddar, aka Cash, aka the sweetest fuzziest dinosaur you ever did see), joins us from a family member who relocated to a more urban setting and we’re delighted to have him! He is such a gentle giant, so sweet and snuggly – always wants to know what you’re up to! Queso was ridden both bareback and in western and English saddles, with just a halter and lead rope or bridle. He goes in the ring and out on trails and is very kind to handle.
Unfortunately he and Florida humidity to not get along. He rubbed his stifle one day and the flies just loooove it and we don’t feel that the weather is conducive to his comfort. He sweats very well and has no other issues. He’s a fabulous turnout companion and would be happy to take you for rides. We are offering him with no fee to a northern/drier/colder climate home to someone who might want a safe, kind companion to enjoy. Due to his size we recommend intermediate handlers.
