Splash Marans x Cookies and Cream Day Old Chicks
Here at the Hatchery at Copper Light Farm we’ve crossed two of our favorite breeds for the first time this season with gorgeous results! This group is a cross with Splash Marans hens and Cookies & Cream roosters.
Cookies and Cream are a medium sized smooth feathered bird with dazzling patterns and crest, they produce medium sized cream colored eggs.
Splash Marans add some size and fluff to the cross and the absolutely best temperaments. they are a larger smooth feathered bird with light grey patterns and lay large brown eggs.
Chicks and fertilized eggs will be available regularly. This breed is a hybrid. Hybrids are initially created by crossing two different parents. Crosses are generally created for vigor and production qualities but also for desired traits such as egg color or feather patterns.
