2015 16.3 Thoroughbred Gelding
Dapper Gray, affectionately known as Goose, has really blossomed into a special horse in six short months in our program. He has multiple wins at local shows with a junior, most recently at the Sarasota Winter Classic at the Terranova Equestrian Center.
He is the exact trainer’s dream horse, the type of horse everyone wants in the barn. Total gentleman to handle under saddle and on the ground. He falls asleep on the crossties for the farrier and being clipped. Easy to load, clip, shoe, show, all the things. No vices, no prep, great feet. He’s been used in our lesson program for riders of varying levels, leased by a junior and is coursing 3’6”.
Goose has a couple of breezes on his record but never raced and retired sound. Post-track he had a proper let down and then was brought along by an amateur who took him to hunter paces, camping, trail riding, cross country schooling – you name it! He found his way to our program when she moved out of state and has been a willing companion for jumping, hacking, showing and generally being everyone’s favorite.
This handsome fellow can be seen at the farm by appointment and also at the upcoming Terranova Hunter Jumper I with his junior taking him around the .80 and .85 and with Teigan in the .90 open jumpers.
