This handsome seven year gelding is absolutely the whole package. Easy to handle, athletic, loves to jump and not a mean bone in his body. All with a gorgeous grey coat, sweet face and the perfect height. This is the horse everyone wants.
He is very quiet under saddle and in the barn. I can confidently say he is one of the easiest horses at the farm. Perfect to handle in every way; clipping, bathing, grooming, in his stall, leading past new things, no drama in turnout. Just a total gentleman. No need to longe before hopping on, he’s been a cool customer every ride even under the lights for a night ride or with rowdy horses coming in from turnout. Loves jumping and has naturally great form with a good amount of scope. He’s learning to use his body thoroughly both on the flat and over fences and has an absolutely gorgeous shoulder and form over fences. He is not spooky, loves to hack and is very brave. Has a green change and currently in training with our on-farm pro with extra guidance from a USDF gold medalist trainer. He is going to be someone’s horse of a lifetime.
He last raced in June, 2021 after winning more than $440,000 at the track and he was allowed ample time in turnout to stretch and relax at the end of his racing career. He is by Hansen, out of Margarita Salt, naming Storm Cat, Seattle Slew, AP Indy, Mr Prospector, Northern Dancer and Unbridled in his line. He is very sound with super feet and a lovely body type with a well set neck. No vices.
