Gracie Blu KVJ x Glamourdale

Glamourdale (Lord Leatherdale x Negro) x Pallido Blu CF (Galobet A x Abdullah)

introducing

Glamourie CLF

A striking black and white tobiano pinto colt arrived safely on April 16, 2026.

This exceptional 2026 Glamourdale colt was not meant to be a keeper, but it’s going to be extremely hard to part with him. He’s charismatic, correct, a lovely mover and packaged in the perfect tobiano coat. To that end, I’d like to offer a very special situation to our inner circle in hopes of keeping him in our program.

At just three weeks old, Gimli is proving to be nimble, intelligent and inquisitive. Expected height at maturity is 16.1h. He is registered Oldenburg Verband with foal inspection scheduled in July. Movement and breeding suggest he could be destined for any ring, I’d prefer a buyer who will let him develop and show us what he prefers. If the new owner would like to keep him intact, we can also help organize breeding opportunities. He is one of only a handful of colored offspring by Glamourdale, making him that much more special.

His sire, Glamourdale, needs no introduction. Currently the world ranked #2 FEI dressage horse (previously ranked first as recently as a few months ago), he keeps getting better with every outing. Frequently scoring in the ninetieth percentile and known for his massive and expressive canter and flying changes, he consistently produces offspring with uphill tendencies and three quality gaits. Our special colt certainly inherited those traits. Glamourdale’s lineage reads like a who’s who of dressage breeding. His sire, Lord Leatherdale, was Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test and a successful FEI competitor; as well as a sire of Olympic medalist Everdale. His dam is half-sister to the approved stallion Numberto and has been an exceptional producer. Damsire Negro is proven choice for producing Grand Prix horses, including the Olympic Gold Medalist, World Cup Winner, and World Equestrian Games Gold Medalist, Valegro.

Glamourdale offspring have been selected for the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses, US National Young Horse Championships, PAVO Cup Finals, and many are now at the FEI levels. In the US, his offspring are winning USDF Breeders Series, Regional and National Championships, and earning top Horse of the Year rankings. Glamourdale already has an impressive 37 approved sons and 45 elite mares to his credit.

Gimli’s dam, Gracie Blu KVJ, is royally jumper bred and had a career over fences herself to 1.20m before coming to the broodmare barn. Her sire, Pallido Blu CF, is known for producing well proportioned athletic progeny with wonderful temperaments and our Gracie is no exception. At Pallido Blu’s 70 day stallion testing he received a perfect 10 for character, showcasing his willing and trainable disposition. He scored over 114 in both the dressage and jumping phases and his offspring have been successful in all rings. Gracie’s damsire, Galoubet A, is one of the most influential sires in sport horse breeding, with his genetics shaping modern show jumping pedigrees. A highly successful Grand Prix competitor himself, he won the French national title multiple times, the Wiesbaden Grand Prix, and a team gold at the World Championships. He’s sired no less than 40 approved stallions, most notably the highly sought Baloubet du Rouet, and countless other high performing jumpers and eventers.

If this sounds like a sales pitch, you’re right. I would absolutely love nothing more than to continue to raise and develop him here at the farm. 🩶

SOLD and we are over the moon to announce he’ll be staying at Copper Light with one of our most lovely owners!

Sire – GLAMOURDALE

Lord Leatherdale x Negro

Current world ranked #1 dressage horse Glamourdale needs no introduction as he continues to dazzle. He won Individual and Team Bronze at the 2024 Paris Olympics but that was hardly his first time in the spotlight. He was previously named Champion of his KWPN keuring, placed second at his Stallion Performance Test, and commandingly won the FEI World Championships for Young Horses. Seemingly unstoppable since their commanding win of the Team Silver and Individual Gold Medal in the Special and the Freestyle at 2022 FEI World Championships, Glamourdale and Lottie have continued to bring home top ribbons and impressive scores as high as 92%. Just this weekend, December 2025, he secured two commanding victories at the World Cup London. Video from the 82% freestyle winning ride is below.

Glamourdale’s sire, Lord Leatherdale, was Reserve Champion of his Stallion Performance Test and a successful FEI competitor; as well as a sire of Olympic medalist Everdale. His dam is half-sister to the approved stallion Numberto and has been an exceptional producer. Damsire Negro is proven choice for producing Grand Prix horses, including the Olympic Gold Medalist, World Cup Winner, and World Equestrian Games Gold Medalist, Valegro.

In the US, his offspring are winning USDF Breeders Series, Regional and National Championships, and earning top Horse of the Year rankings. Glamourdale has an impressive 37 approved sons and 45 elite mares to his credit. With power and scope to the movement, and a super character, Glamourdale offers the quality we should be seeking.

Dam GRACIE BLUE KVJ
Pallido Blu CF x Galoubet A/Abdullah

Currently the only jumper bred mare in our program, our lovely 2016 tobiano premium GOV Oldenburg mare was successful in the 1.20s before transitioning to motherhood. Her sire, Pallido Blu CF is a striking tobiano Oldenburg by Pallido out of Rainfall, an Oldenburg mare. Well known in the US for his homozygous color and adorable jump form, we eagerly await Gracie’s own color testing. Her damsire, Galoubet A was an absolutely epic 17h Selle Francois 1.60m jumper in his own right and as a sire has produced sixty-nine licensed sons and many premium daughters. Most notably Baloubet du Rouet, Quick Star, Caloubet du Rouet and Jah’s Diamant. Gracie is WFFS negative.
