Blue Egger x Cookies and Cream Day Old Chicks

Here at the Hatchery at Copper Light Farm we’ve crossed two of our favorite hens for the first time with our best producing rooster this season with giant hearty fluffy baby chicks as the result! This group is a cross with our favorite blue egg laying hens and a Cookies & Cream rooster. These will be large, hearty, friendly, good egg producing birds.

Cookies and Cream are a medium sized smooth feathered bird with dazzling patterns and crest, they produce medium sized cream colored eggs.

I hesitate to call the hens Easter Eggers as they resemble Wyandottes almost completely in all but egg color. These ladies will add some size and fluff to the cross and the absolutely best temperament. They are a larger smooth feathered bird with grey feathers and lay large light blue eggs.

Chicks and fertilized eggs will be available regularly. This breed is a hybrid. Hybrids are initially created by crossing two different parents. Crosses are generally created for vigor and production qualities but also for desired traits such as egg color or feather patterns.
